Suncoast Hospice

At Suncoast Hospice, the Weekend Care RN is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventative and supportive care to the terminally ill patient/family unit. The Weekend Care RN utilizes assessment, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life to the patient/family unit.

Hours: 8a-8p, Sat and Sun; Hours: 8a-8p, Sat and Sun; position requires on call twice a month.

Position Requirements

1. Current Florida license as Registered Nurse.
2. B.S.N. or graduate diploma or associate degree program.
3. Minimum of two-ten (2-10) years nursing experience.
4. Minimum of one (1) year experience in acute care unit.
5. Minimum of two (2) years experience in caring for terminal patients and others with life threatening illnesses.
6. Must have reliable transportation which will enable them to preform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must be able to provide proof of automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee's files.
7. Must be willing and able to successfully complete computer literacy evaluation.
