At Suncoast Hospice, we are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide medically prescribed occupational therapy services to patients who require such care in their homes. This is a PRN position working on an as needed basis.

Position Requirements

1. Currently licensed as an occupational therapist by the State of Florida.
2. Graduated after successful completion of an occupational therapist education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA), or successor organizations of ACOTE.
3. Is eligible to take or has successfully completed the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists developed and administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
4. Two (2) years minimum full-time experience in clinical setting as an Occupational Therapist.
5. Previous home health care experience desirable.
6. Certain other requirements apply for staff hired prior to December 31, 2009 (see CoPs).
